Company representative was deceptive and withheld information about variable rates. No information was delivered regarding the variable rates and they arbitrarily increased my utility rate 400%Business response

Nordic Energy has researched the circumstances of this complaint. The account was enrolled on 7/19/2021 with a Door-to-Door agent. Enrollment and confirmation appear valid. The gas supply started on 8/19/2021 with a three-month introductory rate of $0.219/CCF of the initial 36-month term. After that, the rate will be a variable rate that *** vary each month for the remainder of the 36-month term. The customer spoke to a ********************** representative requesting to cancel the account prior to receiving this complaint. Per the customers request the account has been canceled. Nordic is sorry for any miscommunication this customer *** have experienced. It was explained to ************** that once his account has final an adjustment will be done on his last two service periods, he understood and thanked me. Nordic believes it has researched and addressed the concerns expressed and acted according to the customers request. Absent additional information Nordic considers this matter closed.
