I hired TopLawn in 2020 after moving to Commerce, MI due to great reviews and recommendations. Since that time I have heard countless neighbors firing TopLawn due to poor customer service, poor results, and killing lawns. Unfortunately over a 2 years with this company I have had similar results. Even when my wife and I called to ask for an explanation they came back and sprayed so much chemical on areas they killed the weeds and my lawn. This year I decided to follow my neighbors and move to a new local company. Once I had a new signed contract I called TopLawn to cancel my service. Spoke to a rep. and moved on. On April 30, 2022 TopLawn (unannounced) came to my home treated my lawn and sent me a ****. At 3:59PM on April 30 I emailed ********************* (co owner) stating that I cancelled my service and I would not be paying his ****. He responded claiming to have never been fired and he had sent 3 emails since January about this year.I knew I had called to cancel and also knew I never received said emails so asked **** to forward the emails as if I am responsible I pay my debts. His response:Since all of our incoming calls are recorded I'm sure you don't mind giving me the phone number you called from and I can listen to the phone conversation and we can resolve this matter. It won't work to tattle tale to the reviews sir, I mean really? That is childish, Like saying "I'm telling Mom" If there is no actual call to discontinue the service I will reply to it truthfully with facts online too....I replied to **** with my phone #, again asked him to forward the emails. The phone number X has never called into my office ever. WIFE has called us one time last year and this is that recording . The fact is ME you are either simply mistaken or you are a liar. Who cares at this point. you keep your money. I will rest easy without it knowing I tell the truth. My OPINION, Poor results, ********************** and Poor Records There are plenty of more reputable company's
