              BBB unable to locate business
              PAID $420.00 FOR YEARLY SERVICE CONTRACT FEE to be effective from October to October. They usually come out in Spring and Fall. Left messages in Spring for filter changes and they never responded. Left more messages approaching fall. No responses at all. Tried calling 2 numbers but neither one would ever go thru. Have now discovered thru internet they are out of business? Is there a remedy to recover the money? I can provide a copy of the cashed check.

              Southeast Climate Care seems to be out of business, but they did not notify me or any of the other customers who have tried to reach them recently. Thankfully, I am not out any money. However, I had called for service. In the past, I had paid them a service contract fee before they came out to the house. I had not done so this time, but I could have. Then I would have been out of money like everyone else. BBB--is there anything people can do to get restitution? What do you recommend?
