            Servicio UniTeller Enters Consent Order with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

            On December 22, 2022 Servicio UniTeller entered into a Consent Order with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Order settles allegations that the business failed to comply with many Electronic Fund Transfer Act requirements, including failing to refund customers after the company made money transfer errors and failing to provide accurate disclosures to senders.             I tried to send money to Mexico from my bank account. After 3 days waiting, they said they needed more documentation to send it. Then I decided to cancel it. They took it from my bank without any documentation that they said they needed, then they didn't deliver it. I have received 5 texts saying that I need to email or call them. I have emailed them about 20 times and no one helps me. Then they said to call them, but they have no phone number available that I can use to call from outside of the US. Seems crazy for a country that does business internationally. I have now disputed the charge with my bank. The people I have been in contact with have no business dealing with people's money. They have sent me about 6 texts asking me to email them, and when I email them, they can't help. The amount they stole from me is $534.37.

SO, YOU LOAD UP. I WAS GONNA SEND ***** TO MY GF BUT I DECIDED TO SEND ABOUT $220. THEY THEN SAY SORRY WE DETECT FRAUD OR SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY. YOU TRANSACTION IS CANCELLED. YOU GO TO YOUR BANK, AND EVERYTHING IS FINE, NOTHING TAKEN OUT. THEN THE WEEKEND COMES THEY DEDUCT THE MONEY ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. YOU CALL THEM, GET A SPEIL. THEN, YOU WILL WAIT UNTIL *****. **** AT YOUR BANK, CALL YOUR BANK. IF YOU STOP PAYMENT YOUR BANK WILL CHARGE YOU $35 - $40 BUCKS ... IF YOU KEEP WAITING FOR THE MONEY TO BE PUT BACK IN ... AFTER A WEEK THEY REQUEST THAT YOUR BANK CERTIFY THAT YOU HAVE NOT CHALLENGED IT AND TO SEND THEM LETTERS AND CALL THEN. ALL THE WHILE THEY HAVE YOUR CASH - THAT THEY USE TO FLOAT THEIR PAYROLL OR OPERATION. ESTIMATE ****** SCREWED PEOPLE HOLDING THEIR $200 -$2000 DOLLARS EACH ... THAT BIG BUCK$. THEN, THEY DELAY, DELAY, DELAY ... I WAS NICE TO THEM, PLAYING ALONG ... BUT I NEEDED MY $220 BUCK TO FIX MY AIR CONDITIONER. WHAT STARTED AT THE END OF APRIL 26TH, FINALLY GOT RESOLVED BY MAY 23 2023. 5-6 PHONE CALLS TO OPERATORS, SUPERVISORS, & 2 CALLS AND 3 EMAIL BETWEEN MY BANK AND I. GOT ABOUT 5 1/2 - 6 HOURS OF PERSONAL TIME INVOLVED [ LOSS OF MY PRECIOUS TIME X $25.00 HOUR ] YOU DO THE ***** EVENTUALLY, THE MONEY APPEARED ... I WAS SO SWEET, NO CUSSING, PLAYING DUMB, KIND, BEGGING I NEED THE MONEY FOR MY SICK MOTHER, AND MY BANK WAS NICE TO THEM, THEIR COMPLIANCE **** PUT IN AN HOUR ON MY BEHALF. FINALLY, HALLELUYAH !
