      I have been getting my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced at Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram located in the *****, ** for the last couple years. In September 2023, the engine light displayed on the dash. I brought the vehicle to Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for consultation. At this time, the vehicle had approx ****** miles. I received a diagnostic that ultimately the entire engine for the vehicle had to be replaced which would cost approx $15,000 with labor and parts. Ultimately, I decided to have the engine replaced at full price. **** supplied the engine from a third party manufacturer and did the labor on their premises. The engine came with a three year warranty from the manufacturer along with a two year warranty from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. In July 2024, the new engine overheated. I immediately brought the vehicle back to Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for consultation. I received a diagnostic that the engine was not salvageable and would have to be fully replaced again. Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram then told me that neither their in-house warranty nor the manufacturers warranty would cover the engine overheating and Id have to pay full price outright again to have the engine replaced in order for my car to be operable. I went back and forth with multiple levels of supervision within Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for further explanation and an agreeable solution but they refused to help and told me remove my vehicle from their premises as I was refusing to pay for the engine to be replaced as I believe at least one of the two warranties should cover this issue. I also learned after these series of events this year and model Jeep engine had a recall but the dealership never informed me of this when the Jeep was being serviced. The recall is based on the engine potentially overheating. It is my understanding it is the responsibility of the dealership to check for recalls at the time of service for consultation.

      While we do understand the customers light, unfortunately, In this case, what the customer is failing to acknowledge is that the reason she has no warranty coverage is because the cause of the failure of the warrantable part is due to the failure of a NON-WARRANTABLE part. Failure of a non covered component which then causes failure to the covered component deems the warranty void at that point. The last ROs states that. We tried working with her and gave her a solid discount on the new work needed. Attempted to contact the customer to further explain but no answer, phone just rings so emailed instead.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      The cause of the failure was the coolant fan which is a part of the engine. This is common knowledge within the automotive industry and certified mechanics. There cannot be an operable engine without an operable coolant fan which is a component of the engine which is under said warranty. To say it is an non-warrantable part is to say the engine isnt under warranty which is false, there are two separate warranties. This is now the second engine in less than 12 months that has failed and Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram continues to deny any responsibility or at least attempt to connect the dots to a potentially bigger issue. They also fail to acknowledge the past recalls of this make and model engine which could also be a contributing factor. I did not receive any calls or emails from Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram aside from persistently asking for me to remove my inoperable vehicle from their premises after offering no resolution aside from paying full price for the second time. There was never any discussion of a solid discount. My contact information is the same as provided to the Better Business Bureau.

      There are current recalls on both the engine and the coolant fan that Jeep continues to ignore which should have been communicated when the vehicle was first brought in. If the engine signals the coolant fan when to operate, its operation (or lackthereof) can affect that. I need the Better Business Bureau to mediate as Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram continues to display poor customer service and believes paying full price for a second engine in less than a year is reasonable when two separate warranties are active.

      I bought a vehicle from these guys on June 2023 and I still yet to receive registration and plates for the vehicle I'm currently making payment for month to month nobody answer me or gives me a straight forward answer on what's going on .

      I recently sold my vehicle to this dealership. I brought in the lien release letter on 11/18/23. The only feed back has been myself sending text to one of the associates who is aware of my situation. However, he can only relay messages. When you call you are placed on hold and no one picks up the phone. I have an agreement for $18,500. This is the amount we agreed upon the form given to ne to complete the deal. I feel they are giving me the run around instead of sending my check. The conract is a ****************** Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.Thank you

      I brought my car in 8/31 for an inspection. At that time I was told that the car would not pass inspection and was told I needed brakes, rear tires, and axle replaced (my car is from 2017 and all I was told at the previous inspection regarding the brakes. All told more than $5000.00 worth of work. It took constant waiting and call backs to get the repairs done. The price for repairs and what needed repair kept changing. On the 6th I finally received my car. I parked it and the next day my brand new tire was half deflated. Called and took the car back in. They could find nothing. The tire was repeatedly deflating. I asked them to repair or replace the tire. They have been giving me excuses and run around. I demanded that they replace an obviously defective tire and they are playing run around games with me stating that they could not and only the manufacturer could authorize that. Today is September 21st and still no resolution. I CAN'T GET THEM TO REPLACE A DEFECTIVE TIRE!

An appointment was arranged with our Sales Consultant ************************* for 6/17/2023 at *********** *** (see attached ************* and Opportunities Lead information). This was followed by a meeting on 6/19/2023 where we ran a credit application using the attached identification (driving license).  This application was rejected by ******** ********

      Bought a car on 2/8/22, transmission failed on 2/14.They tried to help with a replacement car within the same price range or a little higher but upon arrival to test drive said cars, one was sold and we were approved for a car with 1k higher in value. Not bad, except the $**** we put in down payment is now non existent and there would have been a new loan with a 13% interest rate.If my math is correct it would be the invisible **** plus 18k plus interest. How is that even in the same price range?Everyone has a different explanation for their madness and they are not communicating with each other.Buying the car the 6 hours, getting some answers that makes sense still hasnt happened.**** from service has been the most helpful so far, as well as *********************** whos doing the best he can to assist.If you arent looking to buy a car cash and for at least 10k more than listed online, stay clear.The prices online are just to lure you through the doors.The general manager ********************* emailed me to call him at extension 447 and he has yet to respond.3/9 Still getting the run around!Apparently the car is being taken care of by another dealership.They said that they relayed the information of the location, to us, which they didnt. I had to call today to get that.Been in communication with customer service and even they are getting the run around from eastchester Chrysler.At this point, its been a month since we purchased the car and still havent driven it for more than 6 day.Still waiting! 6/21 Finally got back the car with a new transmission and more miles than I gave them back with!5/13/2023 the car broke down on the highway with my infant in the back seat. Towed it to the dealership with a clear transmission issue and no lights on the dash. They did a $326 diagnostic with an estimate of $2500 to fix an engine and catalytic converter problem that was never there before and now a check engine light upon pick up. The car fax is all a lie.

      *********************** purchased the vehicle (**************) at Eastchester CDJR in February 2022.  Shortly after, the transmission failed. Eastchester CDJR sent the vehicle to the manufacturer ********* to replace the transmission as it was covered under the warranty.  During this period, Eastchester CDJR provided *********************** with a courtesy car and explored potential alternative vehicle options.  The manufacturer returned the vehicle with a new transmission along with a 12-month extended warranty.

      I had bought a 2015 ****** wrx I was unaware that the car was modified and also unaware that the emission system was taken out by the previous owner I have had a lot of problems with the car second week of owning the car the shifter broke. when I had found out that the car had no catalytic converters I asked the dealership to put them on and they told me that is not there problem that is my problem this dealership claims that they had done an inspection on this car but it was not done this car should have never been sold the car broke down for Maybe the 4th time the car was brought to the dealership they said warranty will not fix the because of the modifications on the car I had told them this is how you sold me the car they said I have to pay out of pocket to fix the car so I had brought the car to island ****** in august tO have the car fixed mechanics said the reason for the engine failure was from the modifications on the car it cost me ****** dollars to fix the car and I havent had this car the car was brought to B&Z auto enterprises October 16,2021 I had just received the car February 23,2023 I lost ****** dollars on fixing the car plus I lost all that time I was making payments on the car note and as well as the insurance every month

      I purchased the vehicle in December of 2022 I told the dealer with in the first 30 days of the purchase that it had some problems and I had to go back and forth to ny 4 times (actually) to get the problem sloved but he refuses to fix the issues even though he advised the car with these features, they wont answer the phone or reach out to me. The last time I went up there the dealer told me to use the warranty I paid for but now the warranty company wont answer my phone calls or the dealer thats doing the warranty work. They also sent me home missing two lug nuts. I also have proof that I told him with in 30 days of the purchase and them blowing me off. Please help me

      i have a 2015 ****** wrx that i have bought from east ******* dodge the car has problems since i had bought it. i had found out 2 weeks after buying this car there was no catalytic converters there is no emissions on the car and that there was some kind of bypass on the car so it could pass inspection the car has some kind of tuner and the car has a boost controller that was turned up to *************************************************************** the year and a half about 9 months the car has been broken down because of the stuff that was done to the car by the previous owner the motor has loss compression and the car now needs a motor the dealer will not replace the motor because warrenty will not cover it the one thing i had gotten annoyed about is when i had spoken to the service manager he said there was catalytic converters on the car he said when they plugged the scanner in it passed but because of the bypass on the car the check engine light would not come on and nothing was ever said about looking under the car. now i have a car that i can not use again 5

      I purchased a Used jeep and was told that if I wanted the service contract it would be $43 more a month but wasn't told it would be $7000 dollars and after the purchase realized this confronted them the next day they stated it would be 45 days to process the time came and went have confronted them numerous times since them in person and by phone. they said they would look into it and resolve but nothing has happened they don't answer there phone anymore I spoke to *************************** who was the person who help me in the sales and financing of jeep he keeps telling me he would help but hasn't help me the jeep was purchased in march 12 2022 I don't know what I can do have just filed a complaint to the attorney general as well for assistance
