I had damage on my 2015 Hyundai Genesis fixed by fine line and they had spilled some kind of brown liquid all over the side of of car, I told Rus the manager about the brown liquid , also my car had numerous scratches on it from the body shop also when they were trying to get the brown substance off my car they had stripped off the clear coat on my bumper, passenger side rocker panel and also scratched up my hood and other scratch marks on my car, I showed Rus the Manager the scratches and he said he would take care of it, all they did is put plain white touch up paint on my car which has a pearl white paint, this is still a $30,000 car even though it is a 2015 I don't want white touch up spot everywhere on my car. It needs to be repainted properly not with touch up paint.Business response

My experience with Fine Line Auto Body 640 Alum Creek Drive Columbus, Ohio 43205 has not been a pleasant or satisfactory experience dating back to 2018. There were a couple people of people at this location that were friendly and helpful. My vehicle was involved in an accident in 2018 and I took it there for repairs Fine Line states that they warranty their work and I was praying that I never had to deal with them again but no such luck. In December of 2021 I discovered the body work they completed started to seperate and crack so I went into the shop to talk to someone about it. I was informed that I would need to speak with the regional manager because he handles the warranties. His name is **** My original appointment was scheduled for December 29th but with Fine Line being short staffed I was flexible with them and we agreed to meet on January 5th at 3pm. Upon my arrival I was informed *** was running late for our appointment and I completely understand sometimes other appointments may extend beyond the times that are set, but for me it is a clear indicator of how events will transpire. After inspecting my vehicle *** stated he would contact me in a week or two because he needed to find out what they could do to get my vehicle repaired but he needed to check to see what materials were used and he would contact me in a week or two. I looked puzzled like that takes two weeks? I received no call from him so on January 26th I went back to Fineline and was told that someone would reach out to *** to call me. As of today February 5th I still haven't received a call or any information as to what decision has been made in regeards to a solution to get my vehicle repaired. This is not the way a regional manager should conduct business. The way *** handles business decisions is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I'm sure that filing this complaint will iniate a response from him or possibly the owner and that's unprofessional in itself.Business response

My first visit to fine line auto body on ***** ** do you have a small dent in the door post to be there for three days they had it seven days and when I went to pick up my car I found multiple damages to the engine compartment my debt was on the driver side door it cost me $1800 dollars to fix the damage that they had and to my car I called the police there my insurance agent was there I filled out a report to the police they have 24 hour video surveillance first they told me they could not show me because the owner of twins Buick it was his security contacting him I was told I could only see them with a court order talking to an attorney it would cost more in his fees than to just fix it so I did first visit was on 3/7 21 two months later their work was literally falling out they had used a body putty they have a lifetime guarantee on all work they advertise this on the radio 96.3 and other stations so for five months trying to get them to honor their lifetime guarantee they just give me one excuse after the other I have to have this person OK it I have to have this other person OK it he's on vacation he has corona ***** is a name the branch manager he always tells me he's working on it five months always tries to convince me he's doing something I talk to weekly almost it's obvious since I didn't take them to court the first time they don't think I'll do anything this time I had misplaced my copy of their warranty and they will not send me another one unfortunately I didn't read the reviews as there are many similar to mine they are crooks appreciate any help in this manner thank you **** *******Business response

Complaint: ******** I would like you to leave this open until they finished the job because they will tell you one thing and do another as I've been trying to get them to fix they're poorly repair for five months they just keep giving me the runaround until you got involved and I do not believe they will change their ways is the way they treated me the first time I had to spend $1800 to fix the damage that they did to my car he just denied and lied all I had to do is show me the videotapes they told me I would need a court order what's that tell ya I took it back two times' cause the door wasn't shutting right so they could be just leading me on again so we can leave this open until they finish it and I'm satisfied with their work and I might reopen my first one now that I know you can settle a case up to $3000 with an arbitrator' cause I have plenty of pictures please report report from my insurance company they put 20 extra miles on my car has obviously damaged the front end so we'll see how it goes but I cannot trust him been lied to too many times so please leave this case open till satisfied with repairs******** **** *******
