Purchased a 2016 dodge Challenger with only ****** miles . They told me that I had to get the warranty that it was the bank I go through that Wanted it .. I did as they said no problem well ***** miles later the car engine blew .. warranty would not have fixed it because the car was unannounced to heavily modified by the previous owner. So the I was told at the first shop I had to take it too a performance shop ... well I let all this information go to the dealer and my loan company and was told nothing they can do for me ... so I said okay and just kept going with it ... well then I finally had some money saved and got it to a performance shop well they said it has a mds switch that was used for nitrous, and that the engine was completely taken apart recently and also had numerous other add on racing type of modifications.. also said that the cheapest it would be was to replace the engine completely and that was from ***** to ****** to do .. well I'm upset at **** point for already paying 750 a month for a car that does not run so I called the dealer and the bank again for help or advice .. and informed them of all the details ... well the dealer stopped all communication with me completely would not answer or return my calls ... the bank told me it's on the dealer and at this point I just need some advice on what I can do ... I just feel like only 3000 miles is just not what a ****** dollar purchase should get me ... and even if they paid half I would be happy or even just labor ... I was never informed that the previous owner used the cat to race ... and we'll I just don't know what to do anymore ... I was forced into a warranty that did nothing and now I'm just lost at this point trying to make sure I keep paying for it so I don't hurt my credit ....thank you for listening and god bless ...

the date it all started was 3/30/2024 a company by the name of NABS reached out to me after i filed bankruptcy.

they said that they could help me get a car. i was in contact with a guy named *****, went through the process, then started to look for a car. I told him i would love a ***** coup. we found the perfect one. but then i got passed to a guy named ***** who had the car shipped within that week after i had to get it insured which cost me a lot of money for the down payment.

about 3 weeks later he sent me a random text saying that they couldn't go through with the loan because something was wrong with the car fax. which i thought was very strange because i ordered the car fax before i signed the contract and it was completely clear. they then made me put insurance on a second car while still paying for the first one. even though i didn't have that car.

I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for that car to get to me. when it arrived, it did not have tags. i had to contact them over and over to email me tags so that i could move the car.

they then never sent any paperwork to the local DMV for my title or tags for over 60 days and my temp tag expired. upon speaking to the title person (*****) she became very irritated with me for my calls after having to rent a car to get to work because i was pulled over and told that my tags were expired. she hung up in my ear and sent me to voice mail constantly. no one would speak to me or direct me to who i could speak to.

after writing a review i was contacted again the next day by ***** who assured me for the 4th time that i would be reimbursed for all of my trouble i was not.

they then finally sent my tags to DMV in july when i got the car in May but only gave them $20 for a temp registration when the bill of sale stated that they had to pay all fees including tag title and registration.

BBB transcribed from typed letter received via US Mail: To Whom it May Concern: I am writing today because I have a complaint against the Warranty & Gap Insurance with Bob Says Yes of Columbus, Ohio. I have made several phone calls over the last 6 months and have taken the paperwork personally to the business to get my refund for the Warranty & Gap Insurance after the car was sold & paid off. I have been patiently waiting without ever a courtesy call back. I have enclosed copies of paperwork which as I stated was given to them months ago. (11-6-23) I was in contact with **** ******* & **** ()************. Also, a ***/**** in Finance. 12-1-23 called *** to check on refund and was transferred back to the people who handle that. There was no answer and I left another message. Then I call and talked to **** ******* and he said that it takes 8-10 weeks. On 12-27-23 I called again ###-###-#### to a lady named *****; she said she would call me back and she never did.

I purchased a vehicle on March 20th and my temporary registration expired May 7th. They still have not gotten my paperwork processed for my permanent registration or my plates. I have to drive with expired tags because I can't afford to Uber everywhere I have go. Every time I check in ***** *******, the title clerk, tells me that everything is on the way but yet nothing has been received. I don't believe they have done anything because my DMV has no record of my VIN in their system. I'm paying for a car that isn't technically mine at this point and I don't know if it ever will be. I would like my plates and registration ASAP

I bought my car December 28, 2023. Around the end of March beginning of April I started hearing brake issues. I took my car to Buyers Audi and did a oil change and they did a full car inspection. I was told that my brakes and rotors need to be replaced for the front and the back. I replaced the front brakes and rotors with national auto service for $617. I called Bob at Bobb automotive and explain to him what I was experiencing. He scheduled a repair at Bob automotive I was there for four hours. Repair was done. I drove for two days and the squeaking appeared again. I contacted Audi. They indicated that the back Brake pads were not greased prior to being applied. Today, May 30, 2024 I’ve been driving for an hour and my car sounds like a bus when I stop. I contacted Bob automotive. They told me they would charge me to inspect the brakes again because they did everything they were supposed to do which cannot be true because if you did a proficient repair job, I shouldn’t hear squeaking like I’m driving a school bus in a luxury car. I would like my issue resolved and my brakes repaired correctly. This is embarrassing. I called the auto dealer who repaired my front brakes and hes willing to replace any time because parts can be faulty. Bobb automotive said no they would l charge me. That’s insane if theirs issues with manufactured parts the automotive should correct and repair.

I financed a 2018 Honda Accord. The date I left the dealership sensors came on from the front sensing camera. I have consistently reached out to this dealership about the problem. Communication has been no good. I was able to Communicate maybe twice. I was told they would take care of the problem. Since, I have been ignored and have not received any response from anyone from Bobb Automotive.

I was told by the sales person who sold me the vehicle that it would be taken care of. This issue has disabled the ability to use the cruise control function. I brought the vehicle in to Bobb Automotives service shop for the problem. At this time the service department stated they put all new rotors and brakes on the vehicle, new wipers, and an oil change. I was told there would be some noise coming from the brakes for a day or two to rub coating. There is now a constant grinding/winding noise coming from the tires, not sure which. This noise is louder during braking. This noise also was not present prior to changing brakes and rotors. I was told this would be fixed, I have not had any of my calls or text responded to about fixing this issue which is covered under warranty.

On March 4, 2024 I purchased a car from this company. They did not deliver the car until 3 weeks later because the car needed repairs that they never disclosed to me until after the purchase. I received the vehicle with a temporary plate because I live in another state. The temporary plate expired on May 6, 2024. I called them and they told me that all of the paperwork for the car was sent to my local DMV office. I called my local DMV office again today and they have not received any paperwork from the dealer. Here we are almost 3 weeks later, I am now stuck. I need my car to get back and forth to work. The dealer is refusing to work with me and issue another temp plate so that I can drive my car. When none of this is my fault, I want someone from the dealer to contact me and explain why they cannot issue another temporary plate- The DMV told me that they absolutely can issue another plate. I need help.

When I first started looking at this vehicle, the salesman pretty much ran around the vehicle and did not give me an accurate view of the car. There is heavy damage to the right hand side of the vehicle. There’s scratches all over the vehicle. The rims are damaged. None of this was stuff that was told to me or shown to me before I actually purchased the vehicle. Which reminds you I feel like I was taking advantage of because I am currently in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. They didn’t send barely any pictures when purchasing the vehicle the first company that it was going to be finance through backed out because I had not been on my job long enough and supposedly the next company they had to up the total price tag on the car to get the deal done by like $4000-$5000 which is ridiculous, thirdly or lastly, my vehicle has been sitting in my driveway for over three weeks because they have not been able to get the title paperwork to the title company that they use so I have not been able to even drive my vehicle
