I bought a house at *********** in *****, FL. At the time of the sale in September 2020, a new roof was installed. The roof shingles that were installed has been determined to be defective and has deteriorated significantly over a 1.5 year time. At the time of sale, I WAS NOT notified that I had 60 days to transfer the manufacturer warranty. Now they will not cover their own bad product and are telling me I am responsible to fix $20,000 worth of bad shingles.It is convenient that they have a 60 day turn around time for transfers. Just enough time for the new owner to find out too late. I need them to honor their product and replace the shingles.Business response
