1-2-2024 I subscribed to the digital daily editon of Tulsa world through a contract of $1 for a six month subcription with a RECURRING charge of $1 beginning 7-1-2024 for an additional six months. On 7-1-2024 my credit card was wrongly charged $14.99 so I called the ************* The agent rudely said we don't give refunds. At that time I could not find my legal contract with ** stating a RECURRING charge of $1. A few days later I called back after find the contract. ** agent spoke very quickly over and over saying it would be corrected. I have called repeatedly every week since 7-1-2024. I called on 9-11-2024 and an agent told me the check was issued and it takes 4-6 weeks to receive. Four, five, six, seven, eight weeks go by...no check. I called 11-6-2024. The agent said Iwould receive the check the next day in the mail, then said ithe check would arrive in email. Nothing happened. I called 11-7-2024, got the same double talk for 15 minutes so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Agent put me on hold for 20 minutes, then the line went dead. Supervisor called me later, we argued about the charge. I asked her if she knew what RECURRING CHARGE means but got not answer. I hung up. Please, please help me. I have the legal contract in my hand. All I want is my $14.99 in a timely manner AND a sincere apology. WARNING: DO NOT SUBCRIBE TO TULSA WORLD. They refuse to refund my money.
