Business ProfileforOrozco Foundation Repair

Had Orozco Construction, of ******************************** foundation work in May 0f 2022. We called to have them come check the foundation since we were seeing cracks in some of the walls. They came out and did an inspection and said we needed to have a hydrostatic plumbing test done before they would honor the warranty. We were told by ****** they had a plumber they worked with that could do this and if there was a problem they would make the adjustments and the plumber would then make the plumbling repairs. He gave a quote for the additional pillars we would need and said the adjustments were covered by the warranty. We called their guy and had this done, the plumber said the test failed and we needed a sectional test to identify the area where the drain line is damaged and he did not bring that equipment with him so he would do the test after the adjustments were done. We have called Orozco to schedule the adjustments and was told that since the test failed the quote ****** gave us was wrong and we would have to pay labor also. This is not in our original contract. The contract states "you must maintain the foundation to keep your warranty in good standing. If owner does not work to properly maintain the foundation after it is repaired, the warranty can be declared null and void. Contractor is not responsible for any cosmetic damages that may be a result of foundation movements, adjusting pilings and installing new pilings including replacing flooring, repairing sheetrock, plumbing issues or brick repairs. In no part of the original contract does it say that because of plumbing issues is our contract void .They are trying get out of honoring their "Life Time" warranty.We only want them to honor their contract and stand behind what ****** quoted us.
