I went up to brake check to get wheel alignment done. It wasnt that much off. Maybe 95 out of 100. I just wanted it to be 100 out of 100 so that a friend can take his drivers test to get his license.. I picked up my car and they told me they didnt do the front they did the back. Without calling and telling before they worked on it. Only on the back. He said they couldnt do the front because he had almost broke something trying to do it.. but he did break something thats why he didnt do it..Come to find out the front wheel was way off then it was before i brought it there and now the car shakes and rattles when i drive and he still made me pay and wanted me to buy the parts they broke to fix the problem they caused. I tried calling the cooperate guy in charge to get nowhere.. and he tried to offer me. A discount on oil change . My car is like new no more then ****** miles and it doesnt get driven that much. And the before and after paper I receive shows my car didnt get brought in like that. I need the best solution to see if I can press charges on what they did to my Vehicle

I am rejecting this response because: he called and told me the same thing that they said in their response. And he wasnt listening to me when I told him my car wasnt in that condition before i brought it there. If there was an issue they notice before they should have told me before working on it or never worked on it at all.. but they did not do that. I told the guy on the phone Im not interested in a refund I would like to have my car repaired to how it was before I brought it there. The response from the company shows that im not being taking seriously with this situation

11/26/2023 went in with a brake problem, it was narrowed down to my brake boost pump the replacement took longer than expected after getting my truck back i later noticed while changing my spark plugs that a line had shook loose after further inspection i noticed that the vacum line from the boost pump where it connects to the intake body the connection point had been broken and reattached with some type of epoxy and a piece of metal tubing thus explaining why it had taken then so long to do a simple replacement of the boost pump and instead of informing me of the problem they hid it instead

My boyfriend and I had taken and dropped of my 2014 ***** CRV to Brake Check located in ************* ** on or about 12/2/23 at approximately ****hr. I noticed a squeaking noise and I had a life time warranty on my brake pads that were previously installed by Brake Check on or about 1/10/22. Upon arriving on 12/2/23, as witnessed by my boyfriend, I had a conservation with an employee and proceeded to explained what I was noticing and that I had a life time warranty. I also informed the employee to let me know how much the repairs would be and what is wrong before they did any work. About 1 hour after dropping the car off, I received a phone call in which I was told the work that needed to be completed was going to cost about $70 and I then proceeded to confirm the price with him, the employee affirmed the price was correct and he would call me back if it is going to cost more then was quoted and agreed to. I later received a text message from Brake Check at approximately ****hr which detailed several options that I could either choose to accept or decline the services that were detailed. Upon receiving this message, I looked it over but I did not physically select to aspect or decline any other additional services outside the scope of my original approved consent for the agreed work to be performed. I arrive at the Brake Check location at approximately ****hr and proceeded to pay *** invoice and, as witnessed by my boyfriend, the cashier told me my balance was just over $700. I immediately panicked because I am a divorced mother. The employee then proceeded to call his manager about discrepancy in price. I explained the situation and that I never consented to the additional charges. The manager told me that I consented over the phone and that the conservation was recorded. I then requested to hear the recording multiple times and he then eventually retracted his previous statement as it was misleading and false.

In the last week of November, I went to get an alignment on my **** ***** Accord My only car, therefore, my only motive transportation I get to the brake check they do the alignment on my car. Everything went fabulously. I start driving down the highway and my tire starts to wobble. Before I know it entire car is making a weird noise and I have to pull over then thats where I noticed the Lugnuts were not properly put on and my wheel is crooked To the break supervisor, they dont touch my wheels when they make the alignment However, my car thats still on the side of the road. Missing a tire says otherwise not only mess up my brand new tires that I dont even have a week on the car. I still have to buy brand new Lugnuts because three out of five are missing.I am a single mother of three children that might be an old car to them but to me that was the lifeline keeping me and my kids alive taking them to school getting groceries going to the doctor *** the worst part about it is my car is still messed up and I cannot use it. I called back to the check to see if they can help me put it back on or see what they can do. Apparently once I drive its my problem now even though they forgot to tide in my lug nuts.I used my bonus check from work to fix the car just so the alignment can be no good. I wish there was something I can do. I wish there was someone to hear me but unfortunately Im just typing my sorrows away into this box and I really hope this makes a difference, because me not having my car is a huge difference between putting food in the table and ending up in the streets

I had taken my car to a brakecheck shop last month to check my brakes. Just the day before, I had taken it to another place to get my tires rotated and to see if anything had to be repaired with the suspension. They said everything was fine, and also showed me.Anyway, after I took my car to Brakecheck, the person took my tire off, then called me to tell me and show me the CV boot on my passenger side was torn. I looked and there was an even tear, a clean cut, not like a random tear. And that reminded me of the time several years ago when another Brakecheck kept ripping my CV boots each time. The CV wasnt torn before I went to Brackcheck, it was afterwards, so it must have been done there by a mallicious technician. I called BrakeCheck to tell them, and to replace my boot as it was caused at their shop, but they refused. Im still debating whether to take this to court. But Im so disgusted with them for doing this, deliberately causing damage. Im still hoping someone from their management will take ownership of this issue, and make things right

I am rejecting this response because it is obvious that this damage happened at brake check.  The part wasnt damaged before I went there, it was damaged after I came out of there.  So, where else could it have happened?  I have a picture of the damage afterwards, and I have a picture of the intact part before.  But in spite of this, Brake Check will say the damage might have been caused after I left Brake Check.  Seems like they need a video showing the technician cutting the part.  And they dont even consider why I am holding BrakeCheck liable when I could go afterr many other places.  Obviously BrakeCheck has done something wrong.

Don't come here because they will not fix your issue on the first time. 1st time going to the store because of brakes squeaking, the manager there (at the time) said to me it was my front rotors since I had just changed the brake pads, I needed to also do the rotors. I went ahead and got the work done. 3 days later my breaks are squeaking again. I return and the same manager said the issues was coming from the brake pads and bad rotors (manufacture issue) in the ****** He suggested I get brand new brake pads and they would warranty out the rotors and replace them with brand new ones, I agreed. Finally, after almost 8 hours I leave. Again a few days later it starts to squeak. I took it back yesterday and the new manager there checked all rotors and brakes and said "everything looks good, I'm not sure why it is squeaking and can't do anything unless I hear it too". I left and came right back since it started making noise again just a few miles away. The manager said to me it is the back, you need rotors and brakes in the back.Aren't these people brake experts? They did not offer a discount to get the new work done, not even an apology. This has all been a waste of time. The vice president is also very unkind and rude. His name is *************** or something like that. He told me I should ****** my issue and find a solution.

On 03/22/2023 I took my car to Brake Check for a Rotor and brake pad replacement as my car had just reached 60k miles. I was told it would be done in the same day and in just a few hours the car would be ready to go.After more than 5 hours had passed I walked back to the shop to understand why it was taking so long and discovered that while replacing the pads of the rear driver side the employee had broke the e-brake piece attached to the wheel and this was causing the system service require light to go off and could not be resolved at the store. I was advised to take the car to a ********** dealership to have their team run the electrical diagnosis where the problem was found (broken e-brake system). In order to have the dealership run the diagnosis I had to pay $196.44 dollars out of pocket (invoice attached), I only did this because I was instructed by the Brake Check team and told I would get a refund for this amount. It now has been almost 3 months since this happened and I`m yet to receive my reimbursement for this trouble. Invoice and text exchange with store manager is attached here.

On 5/8/2023, I took my vehicle to a local mechanic for diagnostic due to knocking sound under the hood. It was determined I have major damage to the engine and the engine will need to be replaced. I was told by the mechanic who did the dianositc that an improper amount of oil was added during my last oil change. There are no signs of any oil leaks, splatter, or smoking. I contacted Brake Checks corporate office on 5/8/23. Received a phone call from the area vice president on 5/9/23. He had an accusatory tone right from the beginning and was basically annoyed that he had to call me. He ended our first conversation abruptly and requested that I text him a photo of the oil sticker. To say I was shocked by the conversation is an understatement. Three days later, he finally responded to let me know that he did receive the photo of the oil sticker and told me its basically not his problem after speaking with his mobile tech. I requested that he or one of his techs come look at the vehicle or at least speak with the actual mechanic who did the diagnostic. Never happened and he eventually went silent on me. Brake check is trying to brush off this issue and should not treat any customer this way.I contacted Brake Checks corporate office on 5/8/23. Complaint: 20176397

I am rejecting this response because Brake Check damaged my vehicle and its their responsibility to fix it. Simply ignoring the issue is not going to make this issue go away. Brake Check from the beginning has discredited the damage. The mechanic wanted to meet with them to go over his diagnostic report, but Brake Check was unwilling to do so. The Area Vice President said he called the mechanic who did the diagnostic, but later found out he lied because the mechanic who did the diagnostics said he never spoke with him regarding my car. My vehicle has no oil leaks, no oil residue, and no smoking but my engine was missing 4 quarts of oil. The area vice president wants me to believe my hybrid camry burned the 4 quarts. The customer service has been terrible right from the beginning. After reading the reviews on BBB and other rating services, its obvious they could care less about their customers.
