Feb. 2021, my family and I were in an accident. Of the 5, 4 of us suffered neck and/or lower back injuries. We contacted M&M because we'd figured they seemed like a law firm that "fights for the people" as their slogan suggests, unfortunately we didn't realize then they really mean fight for THEIR people and their pockets, no matter what financial setbacks the "client" has had. Anyways, we contact them and at first they are super duper responsive, calling and emailing daily. Little did we know unfortunately that this is only at the beginning when they're trying to get "your business". It has been OUR experience thus far and WE FEEL that to Morgan & Morgan, "clients" are numbers not people. They settle our case for 50k around May/June 2021. They explain that that's the best and most they could do. After that it has been like pulling teeth to have communication with them. Our first red flag, should have been that never did the "leading attorney" speak to us, everything was through their case managers(CM). We try many times to communicate with them and unbeknownst to us, the CM leaves the firm and no one notifies us. Even though we had called and emailed on several occasions. Much later we are finally contacted by another CM who's now in charge of our file and again the pulling teeth communication failures start again. Thankfully she was graceful enough to manage sending us a small part of OUR settlement. Pulling teeth starts again. CM finally sends an email and I reply to her AND to the attorney expressing my concerns and dissatisfaction and to this date this email has been left unanswered. CM leaves and enters now ANOTHER CM. Says it's not her file but will try to help. Now they send us final statements that simply don't make sense. I've had to call their customer service number 3 times before the leading attorney called back and unfortunately it was not a fruitful conversation. More upset of me calling than wanting to resolve the issues. Still waiting 4$ Sad story!Business response

The reviewer's desired resolution is (Explanation of charges & Finish the job) In efforts to further address the client's concerns, the attorney handling his case has spoken to the client and we believe the client's desired resolutions have been met. Please see below the attorney's response: I have discussed the medical bill issue with the client. I called the medical provider who confirmed that the medical bill total that was given to Morgan & Morgan previously is now different because PIP has since paid out a significant portion of the medical bills. As such, the medical bills total provided to the client from the medical provider is significantly less. I have communicated this to the client and they understood. I informed the client that we will change the closing statements to reflect the amounts provided by the medical provider. The client was satisfied and they are waiting on the new closing statements which Abigial will provide them when she returns to the office.Initial Complaint

Well let me start off by saying I called the 25th of October. I had missed some calls and voicemail. But prior to I called back once I've seen it, viewed it and got the invoice. I called to speak to my lawyer everyday/every other day. It was a woman by the way. I called she never answered rude lawyer. She never took my calls😫😩ðŸ™ðŸ˜ŸðŸ™ƒ. Never answered. She never answered my questions. Bad customer service/services. Was not pleased. At ALL. For some reason she always was busy. Or never called back. Left messages for her through agent still no answer!😟.it seemed she push my case away. Kelpt putting it off. Choirpractor sent a bill don't understand why when I had a lawyer. She furfail her job. She furfail to do her JOB. Bad rep.was very unsatisfied. Sent a bill 2,260.Can't say she have an excuse or REASONING why she behave that way. WORSE customer service skills. The absolute BAD customer service rep, agent and customer service skills. Not professional and accepted at ALL Never PERIOD!.Business response

I have a slip and fall case with Morgan and Morgan Melbourne Fl that occured on 01*10*2021. Since then I have been through numerous treatments, including surgery on my right hand, and my hand is not healing right. I have not been able to work all this time due to this accident and I asked my lawyer to please sign approval for pre settlement funding and he told me no that I had to get a personal loan, when he knows Im not working so therefore not able to get a personal loan. I have been trying to contact my lawyer numerous times since then to ask him questions about my case, no response. I also tried calling customer service several times. No response. Now I need to change lawyers because I dont feel that they are truly for the people like they say there commited to. They have not tried contacting me since they took my case and they dont want to let communicate in any way about my cases current status.Business response

I was involved in a 10-vehicle accident on 2/14/19. I hired Morgan&Morgan to represent me. This case was settled in October of 2020, and I still haven't received a check. Morgan&Morgan emailed me electronic documents on 8/17/21 for a check totaling $1521.96. I electronically signed the documents on 8/22/21. When I inquired about the check two weeks later, I was told that the original check had expired, and a new one would have to be generated and sent to me. HOW had the check expired when it had only been five days since they asked me to sign for it? They have been playing games with my money ever since the case was closed. I've talked to too many people, and given too many excuses to remember. Recently I received a letter from the chiropractor, Arrowhead Clinic, stating they were told by Morgan&Morgan that payment had been made directly to me. So I now have a bill, but still no check. I've heard enough lies from them to last a lifetime. No one responds to my emails, and no one returns my calls when I speak with someone from the main number. All they ever say is that someone will call me. I have attached photos from the Arrowhead Clinic letter, as well as the documents I signed, and additional email correspondence.
